Eyeza like ice cream!

Hi everyone!

I'm getting so excited.  I get to meet some folks next weekend.  Maybe I'll find my forever home!  Not that my fosters aren't nice, but I can't wait to make someone's house chock full of Greyhound Love!

Speaking of my fosters being nice, they bought me ice cream!

Yum!  And Pepper and I shared a little, too!

Also, I learned how to jump in the car all by myself!  At first I got some yummy-yummy hotdogs as a treat, but then I jumped in without needing a treat.  I'm a FAST learner!

While we were at the ice cream place, there were some REALLY loud motorcycles.  I was so brave and I wasn't scared at all!  I didn't really care that they were loud.  I just watched them drive away.   I don't understand motorcycles at all.  You couldn't even give one Greyhound a ride on them.  That doesn't make sense to me.  Humans sure are silly sometimes.   Anyway, after the motorcycles drove away, I got to see a REALLY BIG TRUCK, too.  It was even louder than the motorcycles but I bet you could put a whole lot of Greyhounds in one of those!

Welp, I'm going to go now.  I'll try to drop in another time or two before next weekend.  Forever Family, if you're out there, I can't wait to meet you.  There's a lot of love inside of me and I can't wait to share it all with you!

Naps and Cuddles!

Eyeza loves to go shopping!

So, my foster family decided I was such a good girl that they would take me shopping - just them and me!  My foster hounds didn't mind.  I checked!

Our first stop was the Pet store.

I met lots of nice people, too!

Yeah, shopping is awesome!!

Ok, I've had enough.  Can we go home now?

The best part is, I got a new toy!

So, you can see that Eyeza good girl,  I'm outgoing and Eyeza likes to play with toys!  What more could you want in a Greyhound?  Here's a hint - Eyeza cuddle good, too!  I can't wait to meet my forever family.  Is that you?

Signed,
Eyeza (the Tiger)

Eyeza had a good weekend!

Hello everyone!

Eyeza back!  I started out the weekend like any good greyhound should - with a nice long nap on a soft doggie bed!

If I look really comfortable, it is because I am!  Retirement rocks!

Then, my foster family took me to a playdate with some other hounds!  I got to meet a sweet little lady named Fiona and a cute Spanish greyhound named Snoopy!  I also discovered that I like playing with balls A LOT!

I weathered my first thunderstorm with my foster family.  At least, they tell me I did.  I slept through the whole thing.

I've been with my foster family for a whole week and for a whole week I showed them how good my manners were by not having any accidents at all for 7 whole days!  I should get a medal, but they gave me treats which is pretty good, too!

I can't wait till I can show my forever family what a great addition I will make.

Eyeza good greyhound!

Hi, I'm Eyeza.

I was a great racer but I'm ready to retire now.  All the hustle and
bustle of the track has me ready for the good life.  I'm a quiet girl
who likes to play with toys, I like head rubs any time and I love to
take long luxurious naps on comfy things.

My foster dad is kinda goofy.  He goes around singing "She's got Eyeza
the tiger and she sleeps through the night".  He also says "Eyeza's
Eyeza smiling!" whenever I look happy.  He also talks to me like I'm
Jar-Jar Binks (whoever that is).  He strokes my head and tells me "Eyeza
good girl!" and "Eyeza so cute!" Sigh.  At least he gives me really good
head rubs!  Did I tell you how much I LOOOOVE head rubs?

I live with two other greyhounds right now - their names are Whiskey and
Pepper.  They made me feel right at home.  It's nice being with other
greyhounds, sometimes.  We're practicing for team napping and tandem
meal times.  We could go pro right now, I think!

My foster family includes three kids. I really like the little boy. He gives me all kinds of hugs! The older two love me, too. I guess they know I'm comfortable around kids since they shower me with all kinds of affection.

I already know how to come when they call my name, but I think I'm going to try to learn some other tricks, too.  "Wait" is something I'm working on and I see my foster hounds get treats when they "bow" and "sit" so I think I'm going to try and learn those, too!  I like yummy treats as much as the next hound!

I am also pretty good at walking on a leash alone or with my foster hounds Whiskey and Pepper!

Well, that's pretty much it for me right now.  I'll make sure to come
back and let you all know how I'm doing.  I know my forever home is out
there waiting for me and I just know I'll be able to fill it up with
Greyhound Love when I find it!
